CM. Offered the opportunity to review Disney Star Darlings. It’s true. Nothing could go wrong. Based on the characters from Disney Star Darlings, CM received three of the five adventurous girls from Starling Academy – Sage Scarlet and Libby.Disney Star Darlings reflect the traits I’d love to see in my children. Bold, intelligent, optimist, ambitious and confident.
And that’s all well and good when your child sees a doll with big blue eyes. But these dolls offer a little bit more. Clothes on the side of rebellious. Eyes with more than sparkles. With stars in their eyes, of something to wish upon. I love my daughter being aspirational. I love that she doesn’t say “I want to be famous”, and that she does say “I want to be an actor”.
CM is learning to play piano, and is completely committed to her climbing lessons, and wouldn’t be without her weekly Beavers session.
She is an individual.
Libby is kind and generous and making dreams come true truly makes her heart shine.
Scarlet is independent and adventurous and makes her own path; she reminds us that we have all the power in the world to make wishes come true.
They may have big eyes,
But they are eyes which want to take in the world.
They may be slim, but they have taste which doesn’t conform, which suggest individuality is a path of our cause.
