Saturday mornings used to be the bane of my life.
As if getting these little ones up for school Sunday to Friday isn’t enough, CM used to have gymnastics in our local town at 9.30 on Saturdays, cue me getting everyone into the car by 9.10 and then finding a way to entertain the boys from 9.30 to 10.20 before picking her up.
CM decided she really didn’t like her new gymnastics class, so she’s now on a waiting list with the boys for another club.
So, for now, Saturday mornings are our own
And it suits us all.

February 17, 2015 at 19:34My little on is only 19 months, but I dread the time when he will start having extra curricular activities, especially on weekends.
I’m glad you are getting some respite and can relax properly on weekends xx

February 17, 2015 at 22:23Saturday activities are a pain – I know that feeling well. It’s the only day to do things though – I’m looking forward to our swimming having changed from 1pm to 9am. At least it gets it out of the way and the rest of the day is free.
Lovely photo of the 3 of them

March 29, 2015 at 19:21It’s such a difficult one, Saturday is my only chance of a lie-in, but like you say, it’s so good when it gives you the chance to make the most of the day. Hopefully life will find its even keel.
