Sometimes, the world of blogging takes us on adventures we never envisage.
The friends we make, the memories we create.
This weekend I was lucky enough to take my children to Chessington World of Adventures for the preview of Penguins of Madagascar.
It was ambitious, a three-hour drive and an overnighter. And I jumped at the chance to spend some focused time with my little people.
And yes, by the time we got home on Saturday night, my voice was hoarse- the ends of a cold and a lifetime of loving and disciplining my children in equal measure.
(This is E’s ‘take a photo of me’ face- no matter how many times I ask for this to include his eyes being open).
Pure enjoyment.
How lucky am I to have them in my life?
