What we’re looking forward to – Monstrous

Monstrous kids

One of my annual traditions with the children is a trip to London. Whilst I’ve yet to brave taking all three of them, news of Monstrous has made me think 2018 is the year!

Monstrous is a brand new festival aimed at children, which is set to debut this July.  Taking place on Sunday 29th July at the award-winning Printworks venue in London. It’s an ideal festival to motivate a weekend away.

Because it looks fantastic.Monstrous at the Printworks LondonMonstrous will be hosted across seven fantasy worlds packed with live shows. Children’s entertainment from family favourites, amazing experiences and exciting attractions, all aimed at children between the ages of 4 – 14yrs of age.

At 7 years old, the boys are finding it difficult to agree what they’re most excited about. Between Chelsea FC Foundation team teaching kids essential football skills and the world’s largest inflatable obstacle course, The Beast, their discussions about what we’ll experience first is at fever pitch.

But we’re all agreed, at an unbelievable 272m long, with 32 phenomenal obstacles, The Beast does look a little bit special:Digital Beast at MonstrousAs well as football and The Beast, the boys’ other loves are catered for- Minecraft and Roblox. Arcade Alley will offer a digital haven with over 1000 classic console favourites including MineCraft, Roblox, Pokemon, Fortnite Battle Royale, retro Arcade machines, Pacman, Donkey Kong, Street Fighter, PS4, Xbox and Nintendo Switch. Animation studios and Virtual Reality booths will also be on offer which will take care of CM’s current passion.

CM is also excited about Monty’s Monstrous Disco which I admit is probably at the top of my list too. Live music and performances from stars of stage and screen. Giant disco balls, confetti cannons, UV face painters, what’s not to look forward to?

I suspect the Magical Fun Fair Town will also occupy our time.  The promise of fantastic rides and activities including Dodgems galore, Go Carts, Tea Cups, Lazer Quest, Nerf Arenas, and trampolines. That’s right, the Nerf logo has been spotted!

Also on offer are a Prince, Princess & Unicorn Land, a Baby Garden, designed for 4 year-olds and under, and The Big Outdoors with arts and craft workshops, a Petting Zoo, and an Urban Beach.

Monstrous is a one day festival experience aimed at families with children between the ages of 4 – 14yrs. Taking place on Sunday 29th July at Printworks, South London.

Second release tickets are on sale now priced £24.50pp. Babies in arms can attend free of charge. For tickets and more information visit www.monstrouscreations.co.uk.Monstrous pres The BeastDisclosure: We have been invited to Monstrous to review the festival. All words and opinions are our own.
