Word of the Week #WotW

It’s sort of inevitable, Saturday was Blog On Cymru at Sherman Cymru, and Sunday the Red Nose Day Danceathon at Wembley with Team Honk.

A hacking great cough started last week, and I was desperate for it not to become a full-blown cold, it didn’t feature in my meticulous plans.

My plans came to fruition, it was a wonderful weekend.

And up until Wednesday I was a winner. But I was lulled into a false sense of success. I woke with a head cold, and now my nose and eyes are streaming.

And yes, I’m glad it’s now, I have had a couple of days to let it beat me.

But today we are off on a surprise trip, just me and the little people.

And next week CM will turn 6. To a great fanfare no doubt.

So, for now, I am embracing my word of the week!

It is rubbish- especially as it goes round the family- but definitely great when everyone’s out the other side.

Oh no, hope you are feeling better soon. It sounds like a good weekend though, if rather exhausting.

Thank you! It does seem swings and roundabouts, I’m hoping April will have a more even keel!

Thank you x Our bodies do have a knack of letting us know when we’re going a bit too much.
