After an inset day on Monday the little people are now back at school- and it’s been great!
I love it when we’re all off- school and work respectively- and we definitely made the most of the holidays but trying to find anything clean, or any hint of a carpet for that matter was being to seem futile. And us all having Monday off definitely meant we got to ease ourselves back into things.
This week has been great; between the sunshine and the fortnight respite there is a wonderful uplift.
And this week we’ve had lots of things to be happy about, the boys got to see Stick Man after school on Tuesday, they all had swimming lessons again on Wednesday, and yesterday was CM’s school trip.
So, we are right back into the swing of things and it’s meant that there’s been a little bit more time for lists, for plans, and for peace, for the odd five minutes- for hot coffee, for doors locked on the toilet, and even a moment to finish a book.
