The dreaded first post.
It’s like a plaster, writing it will allow me to move on, but this is the post that I will look back on and think “gah, why?”.
So, I’ll try and be brief (unlikely the way I ramble).
This is me, growing up, inspired by a meme asking me to describe my style.
With a wonderful design by Ellie all at Sea – I can’t believe how well she translated my predicament!
And so this is me, an organised mess.
And this is my blog, a scrapbook of life. Family life (with a couple of unwelcomed work related ramblings no doubt), hopefully some baking, hopefully some crafts, but more importantly our journey, a memory book of our little people growing.
January is a welcomed month, full of birthdays, B and E will turn 4- already the excitement is tangible. Although hubby’s birthday is first, but this appears to be overlooked by them!
2015 will be the year that the boys will start ‘big school’, crossing the playground from the nursery like their sister before them.
Like every year before, I have no doubt this one will be full of challenges and adventure.
But for me, knowing that the end of the year will see all three in full-time education, means this year must be one to restore us to our fullest- our fullest happiness, health, and homeliness. To give us all the foundations to give a home-school balance, and keep our house full of laughter.
So, as uneventful a welcome as this is, I do hope you’ll bear with me.
